1- Building an online education community is an excellent way to communicate with educators, students, parents and others. Sharing ideas and thoughts with people regardless of where they are, gives us an incredible opportunity to grow and learn from each other. I think that a Personal Learning Network is not just educational but also fun. I like being able to read and comment on those posts I choose, and I also enjoy many of the gadgets, pictures and videos posted.
2-It seems to me much of the commenting advice make sense and can be useful for all communication, not just blogging. You can Criticize Kindly and still be respectful and professional, and that is good advice for anyone whether online or in person.

ReplyDeleteYou stole the words right out of my mouth! When I read the commenting advice I was thinking the exact same thing...that advice is so true for anyone and for all forms of communication. It is so important for everyone to think before they speak...or comment...and be kind and respectful.
ReplyDeleteHi Rita,
ReplyDeleteI really liked what you said about thinking kindly before commenting whether the comments be made in cyberspace or in person. Really important to remember to think before speaking as words have a lasting impact on others. Hope your summer is going great!! Ellen
I agree with everyone else...everyone should think before they speak. Words can be very hurtful. Constructive critism is the way to go!!
ReplyDeleteI have really enjoyed your blog! Such great ideas! I agree that this is such a great way to get and share ideas. It is always helpful to get constructive critism.
ReplyDeleteAs a pre-k teacher, I had only thought about using this within the Lion Lane network, but after reading your blog, I love the idea about exploring into other schools and offering this to parents as well! Thanks!
